For the SECOND year, we will be celebrating FABI’S 26th Birthday with a celebration of FUNK, of course!!! 🎂🎊
Funk was born from mixing influences of soul music, R&B, jazz and rock especially in the "favelas" of Rio de Janeiro.
A great change in the genre happened in the 2000s - with the emergence of "Furacão 2000", a record label dedicated to bringing new names of funk, especially MCs such as MC Créu, Tati Quebra Barraco, Bonde do Tigrão, MC Carol, Valesca Popozuda and, of course, Anitta.
On this day we will not only celebrate funk, in the name of Fabi, but the culture and growth where funk originated.
There will be LOTS of dancing 💃🏼 eating 🍴 laughter 😆 and, most importantly LOVE ❤️ and COMMUNITY 👯♂️👯♀️👯
